Sound Isolation Booth
No friends, this isn't Doctor Who landing in my studio in a tardis.. This is a vocal isolation booth, constructed from PVC piping and moving blankets. It helps to cut down on background noise from computer fans etc. when I am recording using microphones. It takes about 2 minutes to assemble, the top and the base go up in the rafters in the garage and the uprights go in the corner next to the rake and shovel.
All in an effort to make my recordings sound as professional as possible since I can not afford to build a real vocal booth.
